A fantastic choice! Originally we were booked into a top rated hotel in Sultanhemet, but changed on the advice of friends who rated the nightlife better in Beyoglu. We chose The Gumusyan due to its proximity to Iskidall Cadessi and we were not disappointed. The hotel is 30 metres from the this happening thoroughfare, 200 metres from the antique tram and the Tunel funiculaire railway. We ate at top class restaurants on each of the three nights and never had to travel more than 200 metres and there were plenty that were overbooked for us to go back to Istnabul for. There is a great bar right next door and plenty of others in the vicinity showing live football, etc. If you are a light sleeper you might be better asking fro a room at the back on Friday and Saturday nights as the street is so busy. Worth mentioning the high spec of design and fitments in the rooms, although more tv channels would be welcome. We loved Gumusyan and loved Istanbul!

During our Easter weekend stay, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, which were both excellent. the hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to metro stations and shopping areas.
The noise from the nearby nightlife area kept us up until the early hours of the morning on several nights. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep with the constant partying and occasional street cleaning in the area.

I had an amazing time at this hotel located in the heart of the vibrant European 'old' centre of the city. The location was perfect, with all the shopping centres, restaurants, and transportation options in close proximity. The staff members were very nice and helpful, ensuring that I had everything I needed and providing valuable guidance for exploring the city. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with a pleasant little balcony to enjoy the view. Additionally, the hotel offered a delicious breakfast buffet with a reasonable price.
No improvement needed, everything was just perfect!

Located in the heart of a lively party district, this hotel offers the perfect base for young travelers who love shopping and nightlife. Situated on top of a pub with music entertainment, guests are just two blocks away from a variety of bars, restaurants, and shops. the hotel's modern design gives the spacious rooms a fresh and clean look. the staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast served at the in-house restaurant is well-cooked.
The noise level of the surrounding area may not be suitable for those seeking a peaceful retreat.

Really nice hotel placed in Taksim, one of the most vibrating areas of Istanbul. Pretty well communicated by Metro, and other public transports. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istambul. It's clean, familiar (staff is very friendly), excellent location and has a great price.
I stayed twice at this hotel. The first time I booked the normal room and it was excellent in every way. The second, I booked a Junior Suite because it was only 10€ more expensive than the regular one and found it slightly disappointing. The junior suite is double the size of the regular one, but the bathroom is half size and the decoration poor compared with the regular one (???.) also it was a little bit darker than the regular one. This is really a minor issue and in any case, I would strongly recommend this hotel.
Tourists from United States of America often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
